Tzedek's education department offers a variety of CPD teacher training and INSET to meet the needs of your school. Below are our 3 main training sessions but we are able to tailor these to make sure your staff get the most out of our training.

Course Title: Going Global: Boosting Global Citizenship Learning

Summary: Enhance the humanities curriculum whilst integrating Jewish themes in to the National Curriculum. This will help you make use of free resources so that staff can teach on these issues with less preparation and research!

Course Title: Using Tzedek Resources to Enhance Geography Learning

Summary: Learn about a distant locality in a less economically developed country. Bring real life examples to the classroom with cross curricular links including Jewish studies and Citizenship.

Course Title: A Cross Curricular Look at Sustainability

Summary: Through this co-facilitated course with Big Green Jewish we will look at issues of sustainability that link to different areas of the curriculum, also finding access points through informal activities in your school.

Course Breakdown:

  • An opportunity to try out lessons and share ideas
  • Lesson plans that you can use in the classroom
  • Practical activities that you can use
  • A focus on a class/school project by the end of the day
