London Marathon 2011: Bid for the bond
After three years of persevering, we have finally managed to get hold of ONE London Marathon place for 2011!
These bond places are like gold dust to charities and runners alike, as it can take years and years to secure just one place. We’re looking for willing potential runners to bid a sponsorship limit in order to secure this much sought-after Tzedek bond.
Are you up for the challenge of raising a substantial amount for Tzedek and running 26 miles in the UK’s biggest race?
To ‘bid for the bond’, please email katie@tzedek.org.uk by Friday 30th April 2010 with your sponsorship bid and how you plan to raise the amount.
Once we have all the bids in (please be realistic about how much you think you’ll be able to raise), we’ll be in touch to confirm your entry to the London Marathon for 2011.
We know that it will be disappointing for people if they don’t get the place for the 2011 London Marathon, so we will make sure that we offer an alternative marathon.
Please note:
- this bond is for one place only in the 2011 London Marathon
- all money raised in sponsorship must go towards Tzedek
- you will be asked to complete a pledge form, agreeing to raise the amount you put forward in your bid
