Tzedek Chair & Director win community acclaim
This month, we are thrilled that Tzedek Chair, Steve Miller, and Director, Dan Berelowitz have both received recognition for the work they do in the community.
On 9 June, Steve, who founded Tzedek won the The Bircham Dyson Bell Public Choice Award for Inspirational Volunteer at this years JVN awards.
The ceremony at the London Jewish Cultural Centre was hosted by newsreader Martyn Lewis. Steve’s £1,000 prize money will be given to Tzedek and will go along way towards helping us continue our excellent volunteer training and further developing the volunteers who form the backbone of our organisation.
On 24 June, the Jewish News publicised their '40 under 40' Jewish community leaders, and Tzedek was extremely proud to learn that our Director, Dan Berelowitz had reached No. 2.
Dan was recognised for the hard work he has put in to make Tzedek what it is today, with particular focus on Tzedek's first major donor event with James Wolfensohn, former CEO of the World Bank.

Having two of Tzedek's key personnel acclaimed for their contributions to the Jewish community has really highlighted the success that we've all had in developing Tzedek into a community-recognised organisation with strong leadership and dedicated supporters.
Not only are we extremely proud of Steve and Dan, but also everyone else who plays a role in the work that Tzedek accomplishes overseas and in raising awareness in the UK.
