UK and Ghana School Partnership Taken to the Next Level
Tzedek's Lomdim B'yachad (Learning Together) school partnership programme has been given a huge boost in the last few months. Not only have we increased the number of partnership schools from six to nine in each country, we have also recieved funding from the British Council to have reciprocal teacher exchanges!
The first delegation of three teachers from partnership schools in the U.K. and our Director of Education, Libby Burkeman, flew into Accra yesterday before continuing their journey to Tamalein the north of Ghana this morning.
They'll spend the week visiting the schools, taching lessons, participating in a joint training session with the British Council, working closely with their partner school and, in their spare time, blogging for us and sending us their photos. It will be quite a busy half termfor the teachers from Kerem, Naima, and Clore Tikva.
