In 2003 1.27 million children were engaged in child labour. This project will ensure that a few children can regularly attend school and have a chance at helping themselves out of the poverty trap.

Using the Nobel Award winning technique of micro-credit, 250 women will be trained in income-generating skills and are given small loans to help start-up businesses.

Women in rural communities receive a micro-loan of about £50. They use this for buying the necessary equipment to process shea nuts into shea butter. The finished product is sold in the marketplace, providing a vital and sustainable income for families living in poverty.

Malnutrition and the intermarriage of poor people in Hindupur has lead to a disproportionately large number of physically disadvantaged people in poorer communities. Tzedek are helping 100 physically disadvantaged people achieve a sustainable livelihood.

A milk cow gives a sustainable income so that a woman can afford to send her children to school. When the cow has its first female calf, it is passed onto another woman so that eventually the whole community benefits.

MFCS deliver life-enhancing skills along with specific and ongoing support to marginalized youths (regardless of religion) in Kumasi, Ghana, with the view of strengthening their economic capacity to re-enter the mainstream society as micro-entrepreneurs.
